Woods was a life-long resident of Yazoo County, leaving only to serve his country during the Korean Conflict as a hospitalist in the Navy for four years. Woods attended Benton Public Schools where he met the love of his life since 7th grade, Betty Lou Williams. I know that she is in camp rock, but i seriosuly doubt it still!

She moved to Yazoo City at an early age, attending school in Yazoo City.
